I realized
A lot today
I realized
My dreams are not
Always what they seem
I think I want something but
I’m unwilling to take steps
And there are other things
I don’t know I want at all
Until an opportunity presents itself
It is strange
To realize
That things are so far from what they seem
That I am backwards, inside-out, upside-down
Never knowing where to look
Or if I’ll fall
And where I’ll land
